What we do
How does Avant protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

We restrict access to your information to those employees who need to know it to provide products or services to you

How does Avant collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • apply for a loan
  • use your credit or debit card
  • tell us where to send the money
  • provide employment information
  • show your government-issued ID

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.

Definitions
Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Our affiliates include financial companies such as Zero Financial, Inc., Avant of California LLC, Avant of Idaho, LLC, Avant of Wisconsin, LLC, Avant of Illinois, etc.
Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Nonaffiliates we share with may include financial service providers, non-financial companies, and other businesses
Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include financial service providers, and other businesses
Other important information

Notice to California Residents.

Under California law, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of Avant, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent or to service your account. We will limit sharing to the extent required by California law.

* Loan amounts range from $2,000 to $35,000. APR ranges from 9.95% to 35.99%. Loan lengths range from 12 to 60 months. Administration fee up to 9.99%. If approved, the actual loan terms that a customer qualifies for may vary based on credit determination, state law, and other factors. Minimum loan amounts vary by state. Administration fee is deducted from the loan proceeds and paid to the Lender. Any administration fee of 5% or less of the initial loan amount is not refundable. Administration fee amount in excess of 5% of the initial loan amount is refundable on a prorated basis over the remaining term of the loan when and if the loan is paid in full prior to its original maturity date. A partial prepayment does not trigger a refund of any administration fee amount.
